BSA Conference for Credit Unions – March 27, Milford, MA

The Credit Union Center will again host the BSA Conference for Credit Unions on March 27, 2013, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Milford, MA.  This conference is designed to help those responsible for BSA compliance at their credit union remain current on examination expectations, the definition of compliance, and criminal trends in the world of financial services. In addition to the networking opportunities, participants' attendance and follow-up certificate will also provide evidence of meeting the ongoing educational requirement under the regulation.

Topics will include:

  • Monitoring for Suspicious Activity within the ACH System, presented by experts from New England Automated Clearing House

  • Suspicious Activity - What to Look For and Report and How to Improve your Narrative, presented by representatives of the SAR Task Force and BSA Review – A Special Agent with the IRS Criminal Investigation team and an Assistant US Attorney

  • Review of the New CTR and SAR Forms, presented by one of the League’s Credit Union Compliance Specialists

  • A Question and Answer panel discussion including all speakers from the day
