Boston Alliance for Economic Inclusion Spring Forum—June 13

The Boston Alliance for Economic Inclusion (“BAEI”) holds its Spring Forum on Thursday, June 13, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the O’Neill Federal Office Building Auditorium, 10 Causeway Street, Boston.

Continental breakfast and networking opportunities will be provided beginning at 8:30 a.m. The formal program starts at 9:00.

There is no cost to attend this Forum, but seating is limited and Registration is required.

The program will begin with Remarks by David Cotney, Massachusetts Commissioner of Banks, and continue with a series of presentations:

  • FDIC’s most recent national Survey of Banks’ Efforts to Serve the Unbanked and Underbanked, by Sherrie Rhine, PhD and Senior Economist from FDIC Headquarters in Washington.
  • Economic Update, by FDIC Division of Insurance and Research
  • A Panel -- Examining the Impact of the Great Recession on consumers, creditworthiness, underwriting standards, and products.
